It may sound bittersweet, but chocolate red wine is absolutely delicious. Usually a combination of red wine and chocolate involves eating bricks of chocolate and drinking wine, but how would you like to switch things up?

Making chocolate red wine requires just three main ingredients.
Here’s a recipe below:
What you need:
- 3 tsp. unsweetened dark cocoa powder or 1/3 cup of dark chocolate
- 1 cup red wine (use fruity flavoured wine like Pinot Noir, Shiraz or Beaujolais)
- 1 ½ cup of milk

- 4 tsp. sugar
- pinch of salt
Directions:
- Put a saucepan over medium heat and put in milk and chocolate.
- Stir until chocolate is melted completely. If you are using chocolate powder, stir until it becomes a thick mixture.
- Add red wine, bring to boil and stir occasionally for about three minutes.
- Once hot, pour into mugs.
- Garnish with whip cream.
