In a motion, Leader of the House, Alhaji Garba Bello (APC-Yabo), called on government to assist towns and villages affected by rainfall and windstorm in Yabo and Tambuwal Local Government Areas.

In the motion  co-sponsored by Alhaji Mode Sanyinna (APC- Tambuwal East), Bello said security of lives and property was one of the cardinal objectives of any government in a given society.

“Basically, disaster occurs without notice, hence affecting the livelihood of a given area. Therefore, the need to come to their aid becomes imperative."
