The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has provided a N130 million residential quarters for the Police force in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

This new quarters is worth N130 million.
At the commissioning, the Acting Managing Director of the Commission, Mrs. Ibim Semenitari, spoke highly of the agency and the Police force.
Semenitari called the commissioning "a worthy testimony of the commission’s new commitment to the speedy and credible completion of projects.”
Concerning other ongoing projects, she said the NDDC would complete them soon, “so that the people of the Niger Delta region will enjoy the benefits of their immense contributions to the wealth and well-being of Nigeria."

“This is what we owe them. This is what we owe ourselves, as custodians of their collective aspiration," she added.
