BBC News reports that the sale of Porsche vehicles reduced by 50% in 2015, when compared to the previous year.
According to the managing director of a Porsche showroom in Lagos, Parvin Singh, this reduction in sales can be attributed to the crude oil crisis.
"The government is Nigeria's biggest spender. When the government stops spending, it has a cascading effect on the corporate sector," he said.
While Nigeria's economy suffers, luxury sports cars, worth $100,000 (N19.9m) are left to waste away in showrooms.

Thankfully, this reduction in car sales is only in Nigeria.
Porsche set a new record in 2015 with 19% increase in sales worldwide.
Last year, the automaker sold 225,121 vehicles, which is better than the 189,849 cars sold in 2014.
