Kia Rio grabs '2015 Car of the Year' award!

Last month, Pulse Nigeria reported that Toyota Corolla, Kia Rio, Peugeot 301, and Nissan Almera were battling for the 2015 Nigerian Car of the Year crown.

On Thursday, November 26th, Kia Rio beat others to get the Car of the Year (COTY) Award at the 2015 edition of the annual Nigerian Auto Journalists Award,(NAJA).

Other winners in other categories included Peugeot, who won Car Company of the Year over Ford and Nissan, Innoson Vehicles Manufacturing was given the Indigenous Auto Assembler of the Year Award,Mercedes Benz S-class for the Luxury Sedan of the Year Award, Briscoe won the Most Enterprising Auto Dealership of the Year Award while Iron Products Industry(IPI) bagged the Auto Builder of the Year Award.

This comes after a owner-satisfaction survey carried out by Consumer Reports showed that Kia Rio is the least satisfying new car .
