On Monday, November 23rd, a traffic robber almost lost his life in the hands of an angry crowd.

The Nation reports that the robber, Kazeem Musbau, was caught fleeing the scene after breaking the side of a Highlander Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) and robbing the victim, Hellen Leleji, of her bag.

Luckily, for Musbau, a police patrol team intervened before he was almost killed by passersbys.

Joseph Offor, the state’s police command spokesman, announced that he has been arrested and taken to the Kirikiri police station.

All of this took place around Berger Cement, along Mile Two-Apapa Road, at about 7:00am.
