A report by TheCable says the EFCC recovered the humongous sum in an abandoned bureau de change office in Lagos state.

Though the report maintained that the anti-graft agency did not state the exact location where the recovery was made, officials were reportedly counting as at Friday night, April 7, 2017.

“EFCC Lagos zonal office discovers over N400 million and still counting, in an abandoned bureau de change,"  The EFCC's Facebook posted.

The agency's recovery is coming less than a month after the agency said it found N49 million in five sacks at the Kaduna international airport.
