According to the Chairman of the Committee, Olanrewaju Layode, looking into the Lagos Home Ownership Mortgage Scheme (Lagos HOMS) projects, these contractors are not delivered.

“We are not impressed with the work done. Few contractors are on site while only some are able to go beyond average performance with the funds given to them.

“It is not encouraging at all, the scoring of New Town Development Authority does not reflect what is on ground for contractors who have received above 50 percent of funds and left the work far from average.”

Layode urged the residents to be patient for the report of the committee's findings.
