A Kenyan traffic warden has gotten into a lot of trouble for soliciting for a KES10,000 (N19,905) bribe.

Newss24 reports that the traffic warden stopped the driver of a commuter omnibus in Nairobi, who was driving on the Super highway and demanded for the bribe.

Reports say he demanded for the bribe without stating an offence.

After spending an hour arguing with the warden, the driver gave in and paid KES 2,000 (N398).

Unfortunately, things got bad for the warden once members of the bus got down and demanded for a refund.

Eventually, the traffic warden had no choice, but to return the money, then take off to save his life.
