Chigumbura was suspended for two one-day internationals for "maintaining a slow over-rate" in the first one-day international, which Pakistan won by 41 runs on Tuesday.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) ruled Zimbabwe had fallen three overs short at the end of the match.

Chigumbura will miss the second and third matches of the series, which will be played on Friday and Sunday respectively.

The 29-year-old pleaded guilty and accepted the punishment without the need for a hearing.

Chigumbura was Zimbabwe's standout performer in the first ODI, making 117 as his team fell short in their run chase.
