This beautifully painted staircase is the best bookish thing ever

After moving to a new house, Branham decided she wanted to do something different.

She found a picture showing stairs painted to look like books on Pinterest, and set her mind on having something similar in her new home. “It was just an image I saw, there were no tutorials or instructions,” she told Buzzfeed.

Despite this hurdle, Branham went to work and she painted the 13 stairs to look like her and her husband Jonathan’s favorite books, and the finished product is incredible.

Initially, the Branhams were going to carpet the stairs, which would have cost them £200 (100 thousand Naira). Her project ended up saving them £180 (90 thousand Naira). BuzzFeed reported.

Also the project took about 35 hours over the course of six weeks to complete.

She did the whole thing on her own, but said her daughter kept her company and chatted with her while she worked.

This is so beautiful, one of the best bookish stuff ever.
