According to a report by AFP, a rescue worker and a member of the civilian Joint Task Force (JTF) confirmed the unfortunate incident.
The JTF's Babakura Kolo said, "There were twin suicide explosions at 11:10 am in Mashalari village (near Konduga), which killed 15 and left 43 others injured."
The injured victims were transported to the General Hospital in Konduga for treatment.

The attack follows reports of militants slaughtering five people, including a Chief Imam in the Kurmiri village of TitiwaWard in the state on Sunday, September 17.
