The Constitution emerged as a best-seller days after Muslim-American lawyer Khizr Khan, whose son was killed while serving in Iraq, flashed a pocket Constitution and offered to lend it to Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump during a speech at the Democratic National Convention. Mashable reported.

“Let me ask you, have you even read the U.S. Constitution?” Khan asked Trump, then pulled a copy from his pocket and fierily offered, “I will gladly lend you my copy.”

“Look for the words ‘liberty’ and ‘equal protection of law.’ Have you ever been to Arlington National Cemetery? Go look at the graves of the brave patriots who died defending this country,” he said, concluding, “You have sacrificed nothing.”

Khizr Khan's son served in the U.S. Army as a Captain. Known as HumayunS. M. Khan, a Muslim, he was killed in 2004 when a suicide bomber attacked his infantry unit.
