Imoh Umoren's 'The Pretty Ones are the Loneliest' set for Valentines' day premiere

Nollywood filmmaker, Imoh Umoren is set to debut his latest film, 'The Pretty Ones are the Loneliest.'

Shot in Ibadan with principal photography lasting 13 days, 'The Pretty Ones are the Loneliest' follows the story of Emem, a married woman in her 30s struggling through a loveless marriage and raising her son while also caring for her recently widowed father who is coming to terms with the death of his wife.

The love story stars Lucy Ameh, Paul Utomi, Martha Ehinome, Paul Nnadieke, Daramini Nadi and Assal Samuel.

According to 'The Herbert Macaulay Affair' director, two private screenings will hold in Lagos and Ibadan on Febraury 14 as his way of commemorating Valentines day.

While an official release date is yet to be confirmed, the filmmaker has hinted on the possibility of a VOD release.
