The Pole wasted no time after her early exit in Miami. She dismissed the coach with whom she won Wimbledon and has already chosen a successor who, interestingly, lasted less than a month working with Raducanu.

Polish tennis star Iga Swiatek, currently ranked world number four, has brought Francisco Roig into her coaching team. The aim is for the former coach of Rafa Nadal, who was also briefly with Emma Raducanu for just a month, to help last year's Wimbledon champion reverse her recent dip in form.

Just days after her first-round exit in Miami, Iga Swiatek, then world number 3 (now 4th), parted ways with Wim Fissette, with whom she had won the London Grand Slam in 2025.

Now, after spending the past few days training at Nadal's Academy, a player she openly admires, she appears to have finally found the answer she was seeking. "Welcome to the team, Francisco! Looking forward to this new chapter," the 24-year-old Pole posted on her Instagram.
