Zvezda delivered a brilliant performance against Maccabi, particularly in a dominant first half where the red-and-whites sank 16 three-pointers. It was an incredible shooting display that left Maccabi completely defeated before the break. Following the game, head coach Ibon Navarro gave his insightful reaction to the victory.

"Like we said before the game, if you hit more than 12 three-pointers, you're going to win. I'm not sure how many we finished with, but we had 10 by halftime. Everything is easier with shooting like that. Perhaps that accuracy stems from strong defense and an energetic start, which really defined the contest. I think we were solid in the second half. Solid, not great, but this is a very important win for us." - Ibon Navarro

He then touched upon the inspiration and buy-in from his squad.

"When someone wants to sell something, everyone has to buy it. I can try to sell something, but if they don't buy into it, then nothing happens... That is on them, not the coach. It is all down to the players." - Ibon Navarro
