I thought it was over when the season ended. I wasn't ready to make it official and I knew I needed some time to truly make up my mind, but I was pretty sure I had played my last game. I was honest at that last press conference when I said I needed to look myself in the mirror and decide if I still loved this game. I still love this game, and I have so much more to give. The past few weeks have been truly special. I've never been in a situation before where I had no idea what the next step was and had the perfect amount of time just to reflect. I've spent an incredible few months with the people I love, trying to put all the pieces together. This is my final decision. I'm not going for the money. I'm not going for my family. What am I truly fighting for at this point? I still want to make sacrifices. I still want to put in the work. I still want to bleed on the court. I still want to compete, to win, and to feel that indescribable sensation of winning another championship title. I believe I can help Philadelphia become a championship team, and I'm incredibly excited to energize a new fanbase and embark on this amazing journey one last time. Thank you, Los Angeles. Miami, I will love you forever, and Ohio will always be my home. LeBron James

He began his career in 2003, playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat, and Los Angeles Lakers.
