A video has emerged, capturing the moment a happy couple's romantic renewal of their wedding vows almost ended in disaster.

Faith and Peter Bolton were married in 2009 but decided to re-marry each other last month on top of a mountain in Santa Fe, New Mexico, as a display of their enduring love.
However, the happy occasion almost turned tragic as Peter shouted something and threw his arms in the air, losing his balance and teetering backwards over precipice.
Fortunately, Faith was able to grab her husband and avoid catastrophe.
That was definitely a close call. Phew!
