Crvena Zvezda put on a fantastic display, particularly in the first half when they put the result beyond doubt against an out-of-form visiting side.

The red-and-whites were firing from all cylinders against a lackluster Israeli team, leaving no question about the eventual outcome.

Visiting head coach Oded Kattash addressed the media in the post-game press conference.

A very tough night. It is a bad result, and not just the scoreline, but the way we played. We played terribly, failed to use our fouls, and quickly lost our game plan. I am responsible for that. We have to think carefully about what needs to change; we cannot go on like this. We must react. In two days we have a chance to show character and heart. Unfortunately, we are missing our fans, but it is what it is. Oded Kattash

Kattash stressed that Zvezda did not catch them off guard tactically or with the presence of Christian Koloko, but rather that his own team looked very poor on the night.

Tonight went beyond basketball; mentally, we were not there. They started well, we know they are capable of scoring a lot and they are well-coached, so we weren't surprised. I called a timeout after three minutes, but there was no response. I take full responsibility for that. Oded Kattash

Finally, Kattash addressed rumors linking Maccabi with a potential move for Nemanja Nedović.

I love Nedović, and I had the privilege of coaching him during my career, but this is not the right time to discuss that. We are on the market, looking for guards following the injury to Ife Lundberg. Oded Kattash
