The Denver Nuggets secured a crucial victory against the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 5, narrowing the first-round playoff series to 3-2. Nikola Jokic once again delivered a triple-double performance.
The Serbian superstar recorded 27 points, 12 rebounds, and 16 assists, marking his 221st career triple-double, which ties him with Russell Westbrook for the all-time lead.
While Jokic's overall triple-double count is impressive, how many of those 221 have come in the playoffs?
This latest effort was the Serbian ace's 23rd career playoff triple-double, solidifying his third-place position on the all-time list. Only two legends, Magic Johnson and LeBron James, have more games with double-digit figures in three statistical categories.
Magic Johnson finished 30 playoff games with a triple-double, while LeBron James, who is still active, currently stands at 28 such performances.
Jokic's most prolific playoff triple-double season was in 2022-23, when he recorded 10 en route to the Nuggets' championship title.
