Watch lawmakers fight over leadership positions

Nigeria’s House of Representatives, on Tuesday, June 25, 2015, turned into a battlefield after legislators disagreed on how to select leaders.

The trouble erupted just as Speaker, Yakubu Dogara was about to commence the day’s business.

Legislators loyal to Dogara clashed with those loyal to the All Progressives Congress (APC) with the latter group chanting about the party’s supremacy.
