Malam Nasiru Yusif, the Information Officer of the local government council disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
According to him, the people who registered comprised of 80 men and 50 women.
Malam Abdullahi Basirka, the Chairman of the Local Organising Committee for the wedding confirmed this on Thursday, November 17, 2016.

The Council Chairman, Alhaji Ilu Shuwarin, also reiterated the LG's commitment into ensuring the success of the programme.
