The tension escalated in the final moments in France. Bourg had 15 seconds for their last possession, and the ball found Mokoka, who hit a tough shot to seal the title.

Celebrations erupted, with fans pouring onto the court to join the players.

A large number of home supporters rushed onto the hardwood to celebrate their direct qualification for the EuroLeague.

Bourg claimed their first continental title, having previously lost the 2024 EuroCup final to Paris.

This marks the second time in his career that Dušan Alimpijević has missed out on the EuroCup trophy.
