The World Cup in the USA, Mexico, and Canada will introduce an absolute novelty. According to Tuesday's FIFA announcement, spectators at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford (New Jersey) will experience the first-ever halftime show.

This format, primarily known from the NFL, will feature musical stars such as Madonna, Shakira, Justin Bieber, Coldplay, and BTS.

According to DPA agency reports, the closing ceremony will kick off precisely 90 minutes before the final match. Jennifer Hudson will perform the American national anthem, with additional musical acts by Robbie Williams, Laura Pausini, and Nicole Scherzinger.

The event's showbiz lineup will be further enhanced on the field by popular YouTuber IShowSpeed, and Hollywood actor Tom Cruise is also announced to attend.
