The maid was seen in a picture looking on at her employer's family as they ate happily, totally oblivious of her presence.

A serving maid has been made to watch hungrily as her employers family enjoy a meal at a restaurant in Indonesia.

This happened in the country's capital, Jakarta, where the maid was presented with nothing to eat or drink.

Michael Fanny, a resident of the country shared a heart breaking picture of the scene on his Facebook page along with some touching comments.
