According to investigative information, the former Red Star player scaled the VMA's protective fence during the night of July 16th to 17th. He then physically assaulted a military officer at the reception desk, who was on duty as a security guard at the time.

Sportal's source indicates that Plavšić inexplicably struck the security guard. While Belgrade media reported he was under the influence of drugs and alcohol, this has not been officially confirmed, and he was not tested for these substances at the VMA.

After striking the man, who sustained minor injuries, Plavšić was subdued, restrained, and held until civil police arrived and took him into custody.

What should concern him is the potential for up to five years in prison for this offense, as he is suspected of assaulting a military officer, who suffered minor injuries.

The incident occurred just hours after Plavšić and his wife, influencer Jovana Tomić, hosted a large church wedding and celebration for family and friends. The couple had legally married last year.

Uroš Plavšić's Career

Uroš Plavšić recently officially departed Crvena Zvezda, signing a contract with Cluj in Romania. After starting his career in Smederevo, he went to Tennessee College, and then, following a season with Mega, joined Crvena Zvezda. Zvezda sent him on loan spells to Beşiktaş and Bandirma, and he is now with Cluj.

He has represented the Serbian national team on several occasions and was part of the squad that won a bronze medal at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
