Falz the bahd guy and the beautiful actress Adesua Etomi both shared the video of the announcement on their Instagram accounts.

The award has co-host Falz up for Best Rap Album ("Stories That Touch"), " Album of the Year ("Stories That Touch") , Artiste of the Year, Best Collabo ('Soldier' feat Simi)and Best Music Video ('Soldier' feat. Simi).

The nominees list has been greeted by controversies from some aggrieved artists such as Solidstar, Yung6ix, Tekno and Clarence Peters.

Other artists have also expressed reservations about being omitted from the nomination list altogether. In response, the Headies have come out to address the latter saying they didn't submit their entries as at when due.

The date, time and venue  of the event is yet to be announced. Pulse will keep you posted when that drops.
