However, a journalist then took the microphone and, while asking a question, mistakenly placed Dugalić in the Chicago Sky. This instantly startled the Serbian basketball player, who shocked, asked:

Have I been traded to the Sky?

They then explained it was a slip of the tongue, which brought a genuine smile and visible relief to her face.

It's worth noting that Anđela Dugalić recently won the NCAA title with UCLA.

Anđela, who plays as a power forward, averaged a solid nine points, 5.6 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game during the season, shooting 50.2% from the field. This performance earned her the award for the best Sixth Player of the Season.

A comforting factor for Dugalić is that she will be playing in Washington alongside her former Bruins teammate, Lauren Betts.

That's going to be great. I'm very excited about that. It will be a smooth transition, playing with her. - Anđela Dugalić
