Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick expressed his delight with the team's display following an emphatic 5-2 away victory against Real Betis in Matchday 9 of La Liga.
"I think we were extremely clinical in attack and played with great intensity. It was far from an easy match, but we showed top quality. Betis also put in a strong performance, but our win was fully deserved," the Catalan giants' boss stated.
The German tactician also highlighted the importance of set pieces throughout the contest.
"Working on set pieces in training is fundamental. The second goal proved to be huge, especially coming just before half-time. The players tasked with executing them are doing a fantastic job," Flick added.
The manager also addressed squad competition and the overall mood inside the dressing room.
"It is completely natural for players who aren't getting minutes to be frustrated. However, in this team, absolutely everyone will get their chance to take the pitch and prove themselves. There is a fantastic atmosphere within the squad. Every single player is performing at an exceptional level in training, and for me, seeing that total commitment in our sessions is what matters most," the Barcelona boss emphasized.
