Norway's star striker, Erling Haaland, has shared his expectations ahead of the highly anticipated World Cup Round of 16 clash against Brazil. The match is scheduled for July 5th in East Rutherford, USA.
“This is probably one of the most significant moments. I’ve never played such an important match for Norway in my life, and I’ve never experienced anything like it. It’s going to be fantastic. I personally like Brazil; I have many friends there, I know a lot of people from there. It will be a special game. Brazil has 200 million people to choose from. They have Champions League winners, Premier League winners, and the best footballers in the world – because that’s Brazil,” Haaland was quoted by Globo.
In the Round of 16, Norway secured a 2-1 victory over Ivory Coast, while Brazil also advanced by defeating Japan 2-1.
