Gov. Aminu Masari of Katsina State says the state government is ready to partner any indigenous person willing to invest in establishing a company in the state.

Masari made this known on Tuesday in Katsina during the official opening ceremony of a modern zoo and park established by a business mogul, Alhaji Mohammed Sarki.

The governor advised well-to-do youths to make huge investment in the state.

“The Katsina State Government is also ready to provide certain incentives to anybody willing to invest in the state.

“The government will provide land and its Certificate of Occupancy to the investors,’’ Masari said.

According to him, the Katsina State Government welcomes people that will bring their businesses to the state.

Masari noted that the state had fertile land for investment in the Agricultural sector and over 20 dams for irrigation farming.

“The state is blessed with over 20 types of mineral resources ready to be harnessed and tapped by willing investors,’’ he said.

Earlier, Sarki who is the Chairman of Al-Dvsar Petroleum Company, said that he established the zoo and park to promote hospitality in the state.

He said that several youths in Katsina State had never seen some wild animals except in films and photographs.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the zoo contains different species of wild animals, while the park had children playing with machines.
