The Nigerian singer whose real name is Susan Oluwabimpe Harvey, died on February 14, 2013 following a sudden illness.

The pop singer was known for her flamboyant and daring fashion statements. She was known for her up-tempo songs, which were a combination of afrobeat, house and dance music.  Just before her death, she was working on an African invasion project and collaborating with musicians across the continent.

She had previously starred in reality television show “Big Brother Africa” in 2012. She was planning on staring a reality show with presenter Denrele Edun.

In remembrance of her, Pulse Music looks back at some of her music.

‘Jawo jawo’ ft Jaywon (2010)

'Jawo jawo' featuring Jaywon was one of the lead single off her debut album "Gold" released in 2010.

‘Don’t touch’ (2010)

The artist who was signed to Kennis Music until her death released a pop track titled ‘Don’t touch’. She gathered attention from fans and mainstream audiences because of the uniqueness of her music video.

‘You know it’  ft. Eldee (2010)

You know it’ was probably one of her most popular songs. Goldie collaborated with Trybe Records boss Eldee on ‘You know it’. On the lyrics of this song, she was just as bold as her style utterance; she boasts about having swag and being able to steal someone else's man!

'Say my name’ (2012)

Ahead of Valentine’s Day in 2012, the singer dropped ‘Say my name’. The music video for this song featured DJ Sose as her leading man.

‘Miliki’ ft. Navio (2012)

Goldie collaborated with Navio one of the biggest artists in Uganda on 'Miliki'. The song was off her Africa Invasion project. It was also one of the first of her 'Naughty singles' series.

‘Give it to me’ ft. J Martin (2013)

As part of her Africa Invasion project, Goldie featured J.Martin on ‘Give it to me’. The lyrics of the song were in Yoruba, Igbo and English.

Skibobo ft. AY (2013)

On 'Skibobo', the singer featured Tanzanian rapper AY. The ‘Jawo’ crooner even created a dance move to compliment the song.
