Italian artist, Davide Lopresti has emerged winner of the underwater photographer of the year above.

The image also won the macro category.

Other winners include Pier Mane whose "Three Pillars - Practice, Patience & Luck" won the up and coming underwater photographer of the year award and Thomas Heckmann who captured a shipwreck, with the island of Curacao in the background while swimming with his young daughter.
