The Glo Xchange operators will be operating from designated mobile money outlets such as kiosks, shops, pharmacies in strategic locations across the country and have all undergone rigorous training to prepare them for the task ahead.

The operators will complement the over 160 GloWorld and Glozone shops already offering Glo Xchange services to customers as well as branches of all Glo mobile money partners including First Bank, Zenith Bank, Stanbic IBTC and Ecobank, which should speed up financial inclusion in the country through cashless transactions and e-payments to underserved areas.

Glo mobile money users can carry out financial transactions such as airtime purchase, all sorts of bills payment and so on through their mobile phone.

Although these mobile money services are already widely in use, sources say the company plans to further create awareness through robust communication campaigns.
