Enyeama, Aubameyang, Yaya Toure go head to head tonight

African footballers who have distinguished themselves in 2014 are set to be honored with awards in Lagos, Nigeria tonight.

Former Super Eagles’ Captains, Austin ‘Jay-Jay’ Okocha and Kanu Nwankwo and team mate Victor Nosa Ikpeba will be among the generation of old Super Eagles’ players that will at­tend the forthcoming Glo- CAF Awards gala night coming up on Thursday, January 8, 2014 in Lagos, Nigeria.

It was believed that their presence at the event would spur younger football play­ers to greater heights.

The 2014 Glo-CAF Awards will hold at the Con­vention Centre, Eko Hotel & Suites, Lagos on 8th January, 2015. Nigeria’s Vincent En­yeama, three times African Player of the Year and Ivory Coast international, Yaya Toure, and Gabonese Pierre- Emerick Aubameyang made the final list of three nomi­nees shortlisted by CAF for the award.
