“We wanted to secure the three points, and the players gave their all, but we made one significant error, a big clearance from the goalkeeper. We knew he had a powerful shot, and we were punished for it. We tried our best, but ultimately, we only have ourselves to blame. This is our third home match without scoring, which makes winning incredibly difficult. We need to find a solution. For the first time, I felt the weight of the past – the dressing room was incredibly quiet. Once we conceded, everyone was nervous, the entire City Ground was nervous, and I believe that stems from last year. There’s no one to blame here – the solution is to play with more freedom and greater confidence,” the Austrian coach was quoted by the BBC.

Nottingham Forest (5 points from 5 matches) currently sits 12th in the English Premier League standings. They are set to face Crystal Palace away in the sixth round on October 11th.
