Gianni Infantino is Pathetic, La Liga Chief Fires Back

Infantino on Monday dismissed criticism of the governing body and the World Cup, accusing opponents of "spreading hatred and false rumors." In a lengthy Instagram post, the Swiss official wrote that the World Cup was the most exceptional because it "celebrated humanity at its best."

According to Tebas, Infantino should strive for greater transparency within FIFA. "Nobody disputes that football is about emotions. However, it is important that FIFA is a transparent, well-managed, and reliable institution," the head of the top Spanish league was quoted as saying by DPA.
