Ghanaian brothers Jordan and Andre Ayew made history over the weekend in the English Premier League.

The Ayews joined the likes of the Ferdinands, Nevilles, and the Silvas as brothers who have faced each other in an EPL game.

The players who joined the EPL this summer (Andre from Marseille to Swansea and Jordan from Lorient to Aston Villa) faced each other on Saturday, October 24 in a league game.

The brothers - Jordan and Andre Ayew - scored against each other in Aston Villa’s 2-1 home loss to Swansea City to make history as the first brothers to score in an EPL game.

Jordan opened scoring for Villa in the 62nd minute, diving low to meet a Gabby Agbonlahor low cross for his debut goal.

Swansea got their equalizer through a Gylfi Sigurdsson before Ayew netted the winner for the Welsh side.

The brothers have a direct opposite of a start to like ion England.

While Andre has been impressive for Swansea, winning the August Barclay Player of the Month award,  Jordan has  been having a difficult time in the EPL.

His foal against Swansea was his first since he moved to England.
