The Super Eagles took on their counterparts from Rwanda in their opening fixture at the CHAN on Monday, January 15, at the Stade Ibn Batouta, Tangier (Kick-off - 8.30pm Nigeria time), and Rohr was there to watch them.
According to Super Eagles media officer Toyin Ibitoye“Coach Rohr is in Morocco to give technical assistance to and his crew, he has also shown that the home-based players are part of his World Cup plans,”
The Home based Eagles would be supervised by Salisu Yusuf but Rohr is expected to keep an eye on the performance of the home-based team as he steps up preparation for the upcoming World Cup.
The German tactician is expected to depart for Europe after assessing the game, but should be back in time for the Eagles next group game against Libya on Friday, January 19 (Kick-off- 5.30pm Nigeria time)
