Funke Akindele shows off ringed finger

The actress shared a picture of her wedding ring, and wrote a short note of appreciation to God, supposedly for the success of her wedding.

Following her recent low-key wedding in London, actress, Funke Akindele is in a thankful mood as she posts a photo of her ringed finger on Instagram.

The “Jenifa’s Diaries” actress posted the image on September 4th 2016, and accompanied it with the caption "In all #givethanks (ni gbogbo ona,e se Oluwa)"

Having tied the knot with her new husband Abdul Rasheed Bello, aka JJC Skills, the pair made their first appearance at MC Abbey’s comedy show "I laff with MC Abbey" in London on August 27, 2016.

On the decision to have such a quiet wedding away from the prying eyes of the media, the couple released a statement on August 30, 2016, saying it “was right” for them and that they pray “for the understanding of our close friends and fans at this offer of a lifetime moment.

"At a good time, we shall look back and in appreciation of divine grace and your support, we shall celebrate milestones and where we are in life.”

The actress' new husband JJC Skills, is a London-based rapper/producer, popular for several hit songs including 'We are Africans, (Naija remix)' released in 2011.
