According to a Ford's spokesman, this is due to a lack of “reasonable path to profitability.”

As expect, this exit will lead to lots of job cuts.

The Wall Street Journal has confirmed that the carmaker has 52 dealerships and 292 employees in Japan and 44 dealerships and 35 employees in Indonesia.

Only 6,000 sales were made in Indonesia, last year.

In other news, Ford is set to release four new cars in 2016

They include the Mustang, Falcon XR Sprint, Ford RS, and Kuga.
