Spanish King Felipe VI is expected to attend the final match in East Rutherford. US President Donald Trump will also be present at the stadium. Sánchez and Trump have previously clashed on the international political stage, notably over issues such as the war with Iran, Spain's NATO spending, and American support for Israel's military operation in the Gaza Strip following the 2023 Hamas attacks.

Argentine President Javier Milei will not be attending the final match. He cited superstition as his reason for absence, stating he would watch the game from the presidential residence in Olivos, as he has done for all the national team's previous matches in the tournament, according to the AP agency.
