Following in His Famous Father's Footsteps: Andrej Stojaković Declares for NBA Draft
According to journalist Jeff Borzello, the young Stojaković has kept open the option of remaining in college, where he enjoyed a highly successful season, leading his team to the NCAA tournament.
He averaged 13.5 points and 4.5 rebounds per game, primarily coming off the bench, where he was one of the team's most productive players.
He particularly shone in the late stages of the season, during the NCAA tournament, averaging 13.8 points and establishing himself as one of the competition's top sixth men.
Should he decide to stay in college, he is expected to see increased playing time and take on a more significant role next season, with a realistic chance of joining the starting lineup.
Interestingly, this move comes exactly three decades after his father, the legendary Peđa Stojaković, was selected as the 14th pick by the Sacramento Kings in the NBA Draft.
