An official of the Flying Eagles of Nigeria has departed for New Zealand where the 2015 FIFA U20 World Cup will be holding to inspect facilities ahead of the tournament.
Flying Eagles secretary, Ibrahim Aliyu Auwal, will inspect aspects like hotel boarding, stadium, training and medical according to the official NFF website.
The Flying Eagles of Nigeria qualified for the FIFA U20 World Cup after qualifying for undefined2015 U-20 African Youth Championship which earlier in the year in Senegal.
Nigeria went on to win the African champions and have been drawn Group E along with Brazil, Hungary and North Korea for the FIFA U20 World Cup.
They will play all their first round matches at the 46,000-capacity Yarrow Stadium, formerly known as Stadium Taranaki, in New Plymouth beginning with their opening group game against Brazil on June 1.
