A FIFA delegation will assess candidate cities and stadiums in all three nations to evaluate their readiness for hosting major tournament fixtures. FIFA is yet to confirm which venues will make the final cut or announce where the final will be played, with Spain and Morocco competing to host the showpiece match. Scheduled visits include Agadir, Casablanca, Fes, Marrakech, Rabat, and Tangier in Morocco; Lisbon and Porto in Portugal; and Barcelona, Bilbao, Las Palmas, Madrid, San Sebastian, Seville, and Zaragoza in Spain. FIFA noted that other locations could also be visited during the evaluation process.

The governing body added that match allocations and the specific fixtures assigned to each venue will only be determined once the final list of host cities is confirmed and tournament scheduling advances. The opening three matches of the 2030 World Cup will be staged in Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay to celebrate the tournament's centenary, marking 100 years since the inaugural edition was held in Uruguay in 1930.
