The Dobrich outfit currently compete in the Second League, where they languish in second-from-bottom place. The team is enduring a difficult spell following their relegation from the top tier and could lose their professional status by the end of the season.
Dobrudzha join four other Bulgarian clubs currently serving active transfer embargos: top-flight Botev Vratsa, amateur sides Vereya and Krumovgrad, and the now-defunct Lovech.
