Supercar breaks sale records by going for N238 million

Ferrari’s last car, the F40, has done very well for itself.

At an auction house held at the Nürburgring, the 1992 F40 sold for an impressive $1.23 million.

Reportedly, this is the highest price paid for an F40 at auction.

This 1992 F40 was one of the last privately owned, single owner examples in the world.

An Italian family has had it since 1992, and now it has just been bought by an unnamed buyer from Germany.

The F40 is considered one of the Ferrari's ‘Special Series’ models and was built for only a few years.

In it's day, it was considered the fastest, most powerful, and most expensive road car from Ferrari.

Only 1,315 models were built, most are believed to be still in existence.
