Watch Femi Kuti and Keziah Jones perform

Femi Kuti and Keziah Jones gave fans an awesome performance at the New Afrikan Shrine yesterday, 15 October, 2015.

Their set began with Jones strumming his guitar strings seductively. Kuti and his saxophone then joined the bass player on stage.

The talented musicians jammed and entertained fans on the third day of the annual Felabration event. At a point during his performance, Jones even took his shirt off!

Other performers at last night’s show included TemidollFace, Jahbless, Mode 9, Presh, Salawa Abeni and Big Sheff.

Felabration is a commemoration of Fela Anikulapo Kuti’s contribution to music, his human right’s fight and a celebration of the afrobeat pioneer’s life.

This year's event kicked off in Lagos, Nigeria on Monday October 12. It ends on Sunday, October 18.  The late Kuti’s daughter Yeni Kuti conceived the annual event in 2008.

Scheduled to perform tonight are BlackMagic, Brymo, Waje, Illbliss Efya, Sandra Izadore, Skales and several others.
