Darey shares his top 5 songs by Fela Anikulapo Kuti

Pulse Nigeria recently caught up with R&B singer Darey Art Alade who in the spirit of Felabration revealed to us his top five songs by Fela Anikulapo Kuti.

While sharing his playlist, he commended Kuti’s art of storytelling.

“He’s always had a way of painting pictures without you watching him perform. Just listening to the songs you can already understand what he’s saying”, the ‘Asiko’ singer told Pulse in an interview.

The late afrobeat legend would have turned 77 yesterday, October 15, 2015. His legacy is celebrated at an annual weeklong event known as Felabration.
