Federal Road safety Commission(FRSC) has collaborated with Metro97.7FM on a new traffic programme for Lagosians.

All Africa reports that this programme is called 'Traffic Watch'.

According to the General Manager, Cordelia Okpei, this programme, with information from FRSC officers, will help road users with the traffic situations in Lagos.

"Lagosians need to know how the roads are whenever they close from work from 4pm. So this programme will go a long way in helping out."

Concerning the traffic in the state, the government has found solution.

You must have observed that the traffic within Apongbon from Broad Street has been terrible and if you are not careful, from beginning of Apongbon to Surulere can take like five hours. Our ultimate target is to make Broad Street and Apongbon zero tolerant to yellow buses."
